What do I do when a client says they don't want to use models or they simply don't have the budget for it? I shoot the product!
My background in Media Psychology has taught me that people/consumers resonate more with images that contain a human presence. However there are so many cases where we simply can't have an actual human.
"My approach is to create an environment where your imagination will allow you to place a human there."
In this quick little shoot, I wanted to shoot hats. It would have been so much easier to put these hats on a model and shoot them in a dope location.
But instead I created a vibe.... one that says "a person was just here" or perhaps they are just out of frame... or maybe their hat just blew off their head....
These images make you use your imagination, from the colors, to the locations.... I am telling a story of who might have been wearing the hat.
